Hair oil

Here is the recipe:

1 kg of coconut oil
1 kg gingelly oil
½ kg olive oil
1 bunch – fresh curry leaves
1 bunch – henna leaves
Few gooseberries (Amla)

Add all the oils.  Try and get the red hibiscus flower.   Add a couple of them to the oil.  Wash and clean the curry leaves and henna leaves.   Deseed the gooseberries or amla and add them to the leaves and blend in a blender.  Now add the concoction to the oil and boil.  The oil will sputter and finally boil over (the water in the oil will evaporate).  Remove from fire and cool it.  Strain the oil and store in a squeaky clean bottle.  Your own herbal oil is ready to use.

You can use the left over stuff too, in fact that is my favourite for it actually contains all the goodness of the hibiscus flower, the amla, the henna and curry leaves.  Be warned not to apply it on your body or your face for you will find yourself sprouting hair on unwanted places
